Faraday Rotator Mirror
Fiber optic Faraday Rotator mirror rotates the polarization of the input light 90 degree. The input light can have any polarization, while at the output its polarization is changed 90 degree. Faraday Rotator Mirror is a low cost, simple and easily installed passive device, used to adjust the polarization of the light and to reduce the polarization dependent effects of the optical system. It has wide range applications such as tunable fiber laser, fiber sensor, high speed optical communication, erbium-doped fiber amplifiers, optical instrument etc.
