Polarization Insensitive Isolator
1430+/-120nm
An optical isolator is a passive magneto-optic device that allows light to travel in only one direction. It consists of an input polarizer, a Faraday rotator with magnet, and an output polarizer. It guides optical light in one direction and eliminates back reflection and back scattering in the reverse direction at any polarization sate. It’s unique manufacturing process and epoxy-free optical path design enhance its high power handling capability. In high power applications, back reflections can cause instabilities and power spikes. This component is characterized with high performance, high reliability and low Polarization Dependent Loss and low PMD. It has variety application of EDFAs, Raman amplifiers, DWDM systems, Fiber laser, transmitters, transceivers and research.
