Planar Lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter is a device designed to manage optical power. It’s fabricated silica optical waveguide technology to distribute optical signals from center office to multiple premise locations. It features small size, low insertion loss, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range and good channel-to-channel uniformity, and is widely used for PON networks to realize optical signal power splitting and FTTX Systems with low-cost. VFIBRE provides 1xN and 2xN (N=2 to 64) splitter in tube and module box package. All products meet GR-1209-CORE and GR-1221-CORE requirements.
